The following (this "Agreement") sets forth the terms and conditions between Hexasoft Development Sdn. Bhd. ("Hexasoft") and you (if accessing as an individual) or the legal entity on whose behalf you act (the "Licensee") regarding the access, download, and use of the LITE databases.

BY CLICKING "ACCEPT," REGISTERING FOR AN ACCOUNT, DOWNLOADING, ACCESSING, OR USING THE LITE DATABASES, LICENSEE AGREES TO BE BOUND BY THIS AGREEMENT. IF LICENSEE DOES NOT AGREE WITH ALL TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, LICENSEE MUST NOT DOWNLOAD, ACCESS, OR USE THE LITE DATABASES.

1. BACKGROUND AND DEFINITIONS

(a) "IP2Location LITE Database" means the database in text (CSV), binary (BIN) or other formats that provides limited IP geolocation mapping data.
(b) "IP2Proxy LITE Database" means the database in text (CSV), binary (BIN) or other formats that provides limited proxy, VPN, and TOR detection data.
(c) "IP2Location ASN LITE Database" means the database in text (CSV), binary (BIN) or other formats that provides autonomous system (AS) and autonomous system number (ASN) data.
(d) "LITE Databases" means collectively or individually the IP2Location LITE Database, the IP2Proxy LITE Database, and the IP2Location ASN LITE Database, including any updates, modifications, or subsets thereof made available by Hexasoft.
(e) "Documentation" means applicable guides, service descriptions, technical specifications, and format documentation made available by Hexasoft.
(f) "Derivative Work" means any software application, system, product, or service created or operated by Licensee that queries, integrates, or utilizes the LITE Databases.
(g) "End User" means a bona fide third party who accesses or uses Licensee's Derivative Work.
(h) "Attribution Statement" has the meaning assigned in Section 3.

2. GRANT OF RIGHTS

Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement (including strict adherence to Section 3), Hexasoft grants to Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, royalty-free license to:

(a) Download, install, and run the LITE Databases on internal servers, cloud instances, or local environments owned or controlled by Licensee, for internal personal or commercial purposes;
(b) Integrate the LITE Databases into Derivative Works made available to End Users; and
(c) Package and distribute a copy of the LITE Databases strictly in BIN format bundled within Licensee's Derivative Work, subject to the conditions of Section 5(b).

All rights not expressly granted to Licensee are reserved by Hexasoft.

3. MANDATORY ATTRIBUTION

The LITE Databases are provided free of charge on the express condition of prominent public attribution to Hexasoft.

(1) Placement and Visibility Requirements:
Licensee must prominently display an Attribution Statement in an area reasonably and readily accessible to End Users.
For websites and web services, attribution must appear in the site footer, "About" page, credits page, or technical documentation.
For desktop, mobile, or embedded software applications, attribution must appear in the "About" screen, system settings, splash screen, or application documentation.
The Attribution Statement must be rendered in standard, human-readable body font (no smaller than 10px or equivalent standard body size) and must not be hidden, disguised, obscured, or rendered inaccessible via CSS styles (e.g., display: none, visibility: hidden), scripts, zero-pixel dimensions, off-screen rendering, or color matching the background.
Any hyperlink contained in the Attribution Statement must be a direct, functional, and crawlable link without rel="nofollow", rel="sponsored", rel="ugc", or intermediary link-cloaking redirects.

(2) Prescribed Statements:
Licensee must select and display the appropriate statement below (substituting [Product Name] with Licensee's site or product name):

For IP2Location LITE:
[Product Name] uses the IP2Location LITE database for <a href="https://www.ip2location.com">IP geolocation</a>.

For IP2Proxy LITE:
[Product Name] uses the IP2Proxy LITE database for <a href="https://www.ip2location.com">proxy and VPN detection</a>.

For IP2Location ASN LITE:
[Product Name] uses the IP2Location ASN LITE database for <a href="https://www.ip2location.com">autonomous system lookup</a>.

For Combined Deployments:
[Product Name] uses the LITE databases from <a href="https://www.ip2location.com">IP2Location</a> for IP geolocation, proxy, and network intelligence.

Where the Derivative Work does not support HTML rendering, the attribution may be displayed in plain text containing the exact wording and the full URL https://www.ip2location.com.

(3) No Endorsement:
Licensee shall not state, suggest, or imply that Hexasoft endorses, certifies, sponsors, or is affiliated with Licensee or the Derivative Work.

4. PERMITTED PURPOSES

Licensee may utilize the LITE Databases for lawful commercial or non-commercial purposes, including content localization, fraud mitigation, geographic reporting, digital rights management, network routing analysis, academic research, and application development, provided that such operations comply fully with the restrictions below.

5. LICENSE RESTRICTIONS

Licensee shall not, and shall not permit or assist any third party to:

(a) Bulk Exposure:Allow any third party (other than Licensee's employees, direct contractors, or hosting vendors operating solely on Licensee's behalf) to access, query, browse, or export the LITE Databases in their original, raw, unaggregated, or bulk format. Displaying localized query results to End Users via an integrated Derivative Work is permitted.
(b) Standalone Redistribution & Bundling Limits:Distribute, sell, rent, lease, or syndicate the LITE Databases as a standalone asset under any branding. Licensee may distribute the LITE Database solely in BIN format bundled directly inside a Derivative Work, provided that:
-The Derivative Work displays the Attribution Statement alongside the following notice: 
"This application includes the IP2Location LITE database, which may be outdated. To obtain the latest updates, please visit https://www.ip2location.com/database/lite.";
-The Derivative Work's end-user terms legally prohibit End Users from extracting, decoupling, or redistributing the standalone BIN file; and
-Under no circumstances may the CSV, text, or database dump formats be redistributed.
(c) Competing Services:Use the LITE Databases to build, train, benchmark, populate, or operate an API, lookup service, cloud database, or information service whose primary commercial or functional purpose is to provide IP geolocation, proxy/VPN detection, or ASN data to third parties.
(d) Compilations:Re-package, compile, or merge the LITE Databases into composite IP intelligence databases for distribution, export, or sale.
(e) Account Integrity & Abuse:Share, transfer, or disclose Licensee's account login credentials, API download tokens, or direct download URLs to any third party, or employ automated crawlers, scrapers, or scripts that circumvent rate limits or download frequency limits established by Hexasoft.
(f) Reverse Engineering:Modify, adapt, translate, disassemble, decompile, or attempt to derive the schema, internal algorithms, or source structures of the LITE Databases, except to the extent that such restriction is expressly prohibited by applicable law.
(g) Notice Removal:Delete, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices, copyright marks, or metadata embedded within the LITE Databases or Documentation.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

Hexasoft retains all right, title, interest, and intellectual property rights (including copyrights, database rights, trade secrets, and trademarks) in and to the LITE Databases, Documentation, and all related systems. Licensee acknowledges that no title or ownership transfers under this Agreement. Licensee is granted only a limited, revocable right of use as expressly set out herein. Licensee may use the "IP2Location" and "IP2Proxy" trademarks solely for fulfilling the attribution obligations in Section 3.

7. COMMERCIAL EDITIONS & FEES

The LITE Databases are provided free of licensing fees. Licensee acknowledges that Hexasoft offers commercial database packages providing greater precision, comprehensive coverage, and frequent updates, which are governed separately under the Hexasoft Master License Agreement https://www.ip2location.com/terms. Nothing in this Agreement grants rights to Hexasoft's commercial products or priority support.

8. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

THE LITE DATABASES AND DOCUMENTATION ARE FURNISHED ENTIRELY ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. HEXASOFT AND ITS AFFILIATES DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

LICENSEE ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THE LITE DATABASES PROVIDE SAMPLING-TIER COVERAGE AND LOWER ACCURACY COMPARED TO COMMERCIAL VERSIONS, AND MUST NOT BE RELIED UPON FOR LIFE-CRITICAL, EMERGENCY, EMERGENCY-DISPATCH, OR MISSION-CRITICAL APPLICATIONS. HEXASOFT DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE LITE DATABASES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, ACCURATE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT KNOWN DEFECTS WILL BE REMEDIED.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL HEXASOFT, ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE TO LICENSEE OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES (INCLUDING DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THIS AGREEMENT OR THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE LITE DATABASES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

BECAUSE THE LITE DATABASES ARE PROVIDED TO LICENSEE FREE OF CHARGE, LICENSEE AGREES THAT HEXASOFT'S MAXIMUM AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS OF ANY KIND ARISING UNDER OR RELATED TO THIS AGREEMENT SHALL BE STRICTLY LIMITED TO ZERO UNITED STATES DOLLARS (US$0.00). THIS LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FORMS AN ESSENTIAL BASIS OF THE BARGAIN BETWEEN THE PARTIES.

10. INDEMNIFICATION

Licensee agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Hexasoft, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, and employees from and against any third-party claims, liabilities, losses, damages, fines, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or related to:

(a) Licensee's breach of any term or restriction of this Agreement;
(b) Licensee's failure to properly display the Attribution Statement; or
(c) The design, deployment, operation, or marketing of any Derivative Work created or distributed by Licensee.

11. PRIVACY AND COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS

Licensee shall comply with all local, state, national, and international laws, regulations, and statutes applicable to its activities hereunder, including applicable data privacy and protection laws (such as the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010, the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and equivalent regional legislation). Licensee is solely responsible for ensuring its processing of IP addresses obtained through its operations complies with relevant privacy and consent requirements.

12. AUDIT AND VERIFICATION

Upon written request from Hexasoft, Licensee shall, within fourteen (14) days, furnish written certification and reasonably verifiable proof (such as active URLs, screenshots, or software build demonstrations) confirming that its deployment of the LITE Databases complies with all terms herein, including the attribution requirements of Section 3 and the distribution parameters of Section 5.

13. TERM AND TERMINATION

(a) Term:This Agreement commences on the date Licensee registers for an account, downloads, or accesses the LITE Databases, and continues until terminated.
(b) Termination for Convenience:Hexasoft may terminate this Agreement without cause at any time by providing thirty (30) days' written notice or by publicly discontinuing access to the LITE tier. Licensee may terminate at any time by purging all LITE Databases from its infrastructure.
(c) Automatic Termination for Breach:This Agreement terminates automatically and immediately without notice if Licensee violates any restriction in Section 5 or breaches any intellectual property right of Hexasoft.
(d) Cure Period for Attribution Omission:In the event of Licensee's failure to display the Attribution Statement in compliance with Section 3, Hexasoft may issue written notice. Licensee shall have fourteen (14) calendar days from receipt of notice to cure the non-compliance. Failure to cure within this period results in automatic termination of this Agreement.
(e) Effect of Termination:Upon termination, all rights and licenses granted to Licensee cease immediately. Licensee must promptly:
-Cease all operational use of the LITE Databases;
-Permanently delete and destroy all original and derivative copies of the LITE Databases in its possession, custody, or control; and
-Cease shipping any Derivative Works that embed the LITE BIN file.

Sections 1, 3(3), 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 13(e), 15, and 16 shall survive termination of this Agreement.

14. MODIFICATIONS TO DATABASE AND TERMS

(a) Product Changes:Hexasoft reserves the right to modify data formats, precision, fields, or update schedules, or to suspend or deprecate the LITE Databases at its sole discretion, without liability or advance notice.
(b) Amendments to Agreement:Hexasoft may amend this Agreement periodically. Changes become binding thirty (30) days following the posting of the revised Agreement on the IP2Location website. Licensee's continued access or use of the LITE Databases following the effective date constitutes full acceptance of the updated terms.

15. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

This Agreement shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, without regard to conflict of law principles. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts located in the State of Pulau Pinang, Malaysia, for the resolution of any dispute or claim arising out of or related to this Agreement.

16. GENERAL PROVISIONS

(a) Entire Agreement:This Agreement constitutes the complete and exclusive understanding between the parties regarding the LITE Databases, superseding all prior oral or written communications.
(b) Assignment:Licensee may not assign, delegate, or transfer this Agreement or any license rights granted hereunder without the prior written consent of Hexasoft. Any attempted assignment in violation of this provision shall be null and void.
(c) Severability:If any provision of this Agreement is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, void, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
(d) No Waiver:No failure or delay by Hexasoft in exercising any right or remedy under this Agreement operates as a waiver thereof, nor does any single or partial exercise preclude further exercise of that or any other right.
(e) Inurement:This Agreement inures to the benefit of and binds the parties, their lawful successors, and permitted assigns.
(f) Notices:Notices to Hexasoft shall be delivered in writing to:
